Identifying patients

While not all patients with obstructive HCM have symptoms, those that have symptomatic obstructive HCM may display a variety of signs and symptoms that may facilitate recognition of the condition in the general practice and prompt referral to a cardiologist to confirm diagnosis.¹

Orthopnoea

Angina
Palpitations
Arrythmias
Syncope
Pulmonary congestion
Excessive sweating
