Before starting CAMZYOS and during the course of your treatment, your healthcare team will carry out a number of different tests to ensure that your medicine is working as well as it should and to make sure that your health is not compromised.
Pregnancy test
If you are a woman who could become pregnant your doctor may perform a pregnancy test before starting treatment with CAMZYOS
CYP2C19 test
Your doctor may do a test to check how CAMZYOS is broken down (metabolised) in your body as this may be used to guide your CAMZYOS treatment
Echocardiograms
Your doctor will assess how well your heart is working (your heart function) using an echocardiogram (an ultrasound test that takes images of your heart) before your first dose and regularly during treatment with CAMZYOS
